The Pen, mightier than the sword, comes in many shapes, sizes and colours.
However… Blue, just won’t do. Red, not quite right. Green, still no good.
Black, is official, is correct and is all that will do.
If I get to work forgetting my pen, I feel lost. Like some people cannot manage without a phone, not having a pen makes you incomplete. A proper Officer, has a pen.
Dave T is the first Kanga* to feature on the Jailhouse Moose Blog.
*Kanga – Kangaroo – Rhyming slang for ‘Screw’, which in turn is a term of affection for an Officer of Her Majesty’s Prison Service.
