Jim, who manages this blog (thanks dude!) and I have often discussed what will happen when Jailhouse Moose becomes Moose on the Loose? Well it looks like the time to make some decisions is fast approaching. Since I’ve started work in the community I leave the prison at 6am and return at 8pm, when I’ve had my 8 hours shuteye I’m technically only doing two hours jail each day.
I’m also volunteering for a local charity so I am fast running out of experiences and content to sustain a weekly blog about prison life. So I have mixed emotions in telling you that this blog will become more intermittent over the next few months as the demands of a life outside start to increase. The blog will finally end on the day that I achieve parole.
The blog & email accounts will be monitored and where appropriate, any questions or enquiries will be answered into the future.
I would like to thank you for reading and hope that you gained something from it.
When it comes to wrapping this up I am reminded of my grandfather who was expert at bringing things to a close. It’s at times like this that I wish that I had listened to the advice he gave me that summer’s day in 1979….
