Here is the Winter edition of ‘The Manor’ magazine. The magazine is created and published by prisoners, for prisoners, and contains some wonderful articles that we hope you will enjoy. I’ve split the magazine into two PDF’s for ease of reading and added a content list below.

32 – Chain Gang – Words across the ocean.
This year saw a collaboration between men at Erlestoke and Larimer County Jail in Fort Collins, Colorado. Groups of prisoners wrote verse and then exchanged their work. Here we look back at the project and feature some of the poetry from men on both sides of the pond.

Now is the time to register your interest to join the Prisoner Council. You can raise your concerns and those of your wing residents at a monthly meeting with the Governors. You can be involved and informed about the decision making process and help to stop the spread of rumours.
That’s it! The year 2018 is all but done. It was a busy year for us producing three editions of The Manor alongside the Penned Up special and the one-off Armistice edition, but it was all worth it in the end. Roll on 2019 – when we do it all again!
As ever, there is an open invitation for you to get involved in next year’s magazines. Just call in and see us in Room 5 of Education and you could see your work put into print!
